Repentance
How
do I fail to realize this truth in my life?
Sometimes pit life looks as if it is working. But everything is based on things outside of my soul. My heart is hardening and I don’t even know it. I feel lost in the immediate needs of myself and others. I spend my life putting out fires and covering over mistakes. Business gives me the only relief I know. It provides a barrier between me and my deep seeded fears, grief and shame.
I was made for something so
much better than pit life. I was made feel the comfort of my Father, to
find healing in His genuine love and deep compassion.
10 Though
the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
